I specialize in working with adults in all seasons of life take steps towards living with intention and hope. Whether it’s because of a significant hardship or everyday stressors, we all experience emotional distress that impacts our overall well-being. I help others identify areas of life that feel imbalanced and then gain a sense of empowerment to overcome those challenges.
My office is located downtown, and it provides a relaxed environment so that you feel comfortable. Over the course of our time together, I typically use a holistic approach that integrates all aspects of your life–mental, physical, and, if desired, spiritual–to steadily make progress towards your goals. More specifically, I utilize cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and alternative techniques (such as meditation, muscle relaxation, and art) to tailor our sessions to fit you and how you learn.
I have experience working with individuals and couples impacted by depression, anxiety, trauma and loss, relational conflict, and general life transitions among others. Also, I enjoy working with those who may simply want to enhance their life or relationships as a way to continually seek personal growth.
I understand that insurance is not always the best or most feasible option, so I do offer a sliding scale in addition to accepting BCBS. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 312-436-1657, extension #2 for more information.
