Whether adolescence, early adulthood, middle-age, and beyond, we experience the time passing with awe, anxiety, and the realization that our time on this earth is limited. Healthy aging involves an acceptance about our mortality and also the limitless possibilities that our time at this time holds. We understand, we embrace, and we mourn.

Anxiety

We inhabit a complicated world, one of multitasking and multi-issues that at times leaves no room for quiet contemplation. When we stop and realize that our symptoms are at times a product of our environment as well as our biology we've taken a step in taming the dragon. Therefore, we become empowered and active agents.

Although we may have come a long way in our understanding and acceptance of sexualities, we nevertheless, as ours unfolds, come into contact with possibilities, struggles, and placing/accepting ourselves in our own eyes. The more comfortable we are in our bodies, the healthier we engage in the world.

Relationship Issues

Healthy communication should never be assumed. A system should understand the impact that each member has on that system. We each bring to the system everything that came before and thus impact the system in ways that can promote both growth or crisis. I focus on each individual in the system and how their individual histories impact the system.
