Each individual’s journey is unique. My approach to psychotherapy is relational and supportive so people can embrace their personal story in a caring and respectful manner. Together, we can identify strengths, create greater self-awareness, increase fulfillment and understand thoughts, feelings and relationships. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families, provide neurofeedback therapy and conduct neuropsychological assessments.
When working with children, I use play-based therapy paying special attention to the child’s level of development and family relationships so that children acquire positive self-esteem, successful social interactions and competent problem-solving skills. Neuropsychological assessments help families discern learning challenges, navigate the IEP process and find appropriate school placements for their children as well as guide treatment for individuals facing cognitive and emotional challenges as a result of injury or illness.
