In sessions, we will work on identifying coping skills that work for you to manage anxiety in a healthy and adaptive manner. For example, some people may prefer breathing exercises while other chose mindfulness practices to achieve relaxation. We will work together to empower you to feel confident in managing anxiety and live a fulfilling life.

Achieving balance and personal growth takes deeper understanding of who we were, who we are, and who we want to be. Understanding and processing emotions effectively is essential for personal growth. We will identify what areas you are seeking to gain balance like learning ways to reduce stress or finding ways to increase levels of self-care. I work on empowering my clients so they can lead more fulfilling lives. I promote self-reflection of actions and encourage my clients to evaluate their progress, identify barriers, and celebrate their wins.
Depression
Depression is and looks different for everyone - it goes beyond than just feeling sad and can evolve to insomnia, eating problems, and hopelessness. Because depression can be complex and layered, I seek to understand my clients' personal experiences and journeys in life without judgment. I support my clients by validating their feelings as they identify negative thoughts that affect their life. Sessions can focus on techniques to reduce depressive symptoms like learning how to challenge negative thoughts and adopt healthier beliefs. Seeking help to manage depression is a courageous step and I am here to help.
Gender and Sexuality
Exploring gender and sexuality requires not compassion, empathy, and respect, but also allowing the clients to feel the autonomy to lead discussions and decisions about their identities. These discussions promote a space to discuss intersectionalities that can be contributing to concerns in the areas of gender and sexuality of individuals. By fostering an environment of cultural humility and gender affirming approaches, I help my clients embrace their authentic selves while navigating the challenges they may encounter in the process.

Many individuals seek help to address difficulties in their interpersonal connections whether it is friendships, family, or romantic relationships. Therapy provides a space for clients to safely approach their relationships with no judgment. In our sessions, you can expect a dive into the history of your relationships to gain insights into how past events may be influencing current relationship patterns. We will working on understanding communication styles, possible power imbalances, and lingering conflicts to work on establishing and maintaining healthy relationships.
